Our Benchmark Remodeling Process
It begins with a conversation and ends with a beautiful new space.
Initial Conversation and Free Consultation
To start the process we will have a phone conversation to better understand your vision. We ask our clients to email us a few pictures of the area to be renovated, along with some “basic” measurements. Our team will review the information and determine a preliminary estimate, if this is within your budget we will come to your home to take accurate measurements and collect further details. Give us a call to discuss your project. Whether you know what you want or you’re still thinking it through, our team will meet with you and talk you through the process.
Pricing and Planning
After our free initial consultation, we’ll meet with you again to finalize the preliminary estimate, budget, and the scope of work. Our team will work with you using the latest design software that turns your ideas into reality. You will see your completed project in a 3-D color rendering. We are known for standing by our detailed estimates and communicating with you immediately if you make a decision that changes the estimate in any way.
Approval
Upon confirmation of cabinetry, plumbing fixtures, electrical fixtures, countertops, colours and finishes, you will approve the proposed plans, layout, and detailed scope of work. After your approval, we ask for a deposit in advance of the next step.
Pre-Production Stage
Once you’re happy with the proposed design, we will confirm and order all of the materials. Our team will work behind the scenes securing project approvals and permits when required. Before construction activity commences we will assign a Project Manager and develop a renovation schedule.
Production
Once the project materials arrive and the necessary approvals are obtained, we can begin construction. Our team will facilitate communication between you, the installation crew and any other professional tradespeople involved. If you need to be at home during the construction activity, we’ll do everything possible to minimize the disruption to your life.
Completion and Quality Assurance
Once the project is complete, we will perform a walk-through with you and create a “punch list” which documents any outstanding or incomplete items. Once this list is compiled, Tremblay Renovation will go through and take care of every item on the list to your satisfaction on a priority basis.
